New journal, new friends???

addme_fandomName: Prix; I have another DW account at we_protect_each_other, but it is mainly a place I put Dear Author Letters, so it never really felt right to try and convert it to an also-useful-fandom-journal the few times I tried. So given tumblr's intent to alienate everyone, I decided now would be a good time to start a second account!

Subscription/Access Policy: So far what I'm doing is subscribing back to people who subscribe to me if it seems like we have anything in common. I'll grant access later and as we get to know each other or something.

I guess one thing you need to know about me as a fan is that I accrue interests without ever really getting rid of old ones. I'm a little bit of a magpie in that I might get fixated on something for a week or two, shelve it, and dart to something else. However, right now, I am writing a YuGiOh fic and am trying to work on a Fate/Zero fic I let fall by the wayside. I roleplay several characters on another website, so they kind of dictate the rise and fall of my interest in their fandoms, too.

OTPs and Ships: We would be here literally all day if I tried to list all of them. I'll list the ones for the "main" fandoms and a few others I really like regardless of level of investment? I'm a multishipper and a live-and-let-live shipper as long as it isn't parent/child incest or paedophilia tbh.

I'm also a big fan of general friendship and familial relationships. I love ensemble casts. I have something of a weakness for polyships, though they're not the only thing I ship. I like plot in stories. I'm a big fan of time travel and friendship/love/hope winning out over the odds. I like dark stories, but I don't like hopeless endings.
Other Info: I plan to use my DW more often now that tumblr won't really be much of a distraction anymore as far as I know. I have discord and use it. I am involved on a roleplay message board that you can ask me about if you're interested. It's really cool. You might see a mix of real life and social issues, but unless it's a venting post I try to keep things positive and not to preach to the choir too much about things that bother me. I live in the Eastern US, and I would eventually love to go to a con again when I've got the time and money. I play Magic The Gathering Arena sometimes lately. I'm really open to interaction with others, and I'd love to say hello!
