Name: Lady Yate-xel
Age: 24

Main Fandoms: Classic Doctor Who, particularly the Two-era with a heavy slant toward Two/Jamie. Also dig Five/Turlough, and am extremely gay for Ace and Charley and Leela... Not as a threesome, I mean, I just enjoy those characters? This doesn't seem to be able to end in a way that will improve upon the original sentence, so I'm moving on.

Fannish Interests: I'm an illustrator, so I do tons of fanart, and I write all the time but then get shy and keep it all to myself. Working on that last bit. Have some plush adventures in the works. I also like making fun of bad art, bad fic, and drama.

Favorite...

Movies: The Last Unicorn, Nightmare Before Christmas

TV Shows: Classic Doctor Who in terms of what I actively look for fannish content for; also enjoy Glee, Dexter, Invader Zim, Firefly, Life On Mars, Ashes to Ashes, and Star Trek

Books: The Last Unicorn. I don't read much fiction, I prefer textbooks, memoirs and mythology.

Music: Showtunes and Disney songs in foreign languages, Ruslana, Eurovision, Lady Gaga, Peter Schilling / techno, dance, ethno-pop, turbofolk, electronica, 80's pop, operatic metal... Yeah. Little crazy.

Comics/Anime/Misc: Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, PetShop of Horrors, Sailor Moon, Slayers

Other Info: Other things I love include My Little Pony, Hello Kitty, weird dolls and wearing mismatching socks. Love talking about character things - their home time periods, what they do and why they do it... basically applying a lot of psychology to things. Also love discussing feminism, gender and sexuality issues, as well as 'this is not how you science' through a fandom filter. Yaoi/slash seme/uke cliches really bother me, and pairings based solely on the merit of 'they'd be hot together' gross me out and make me concerned for society. I love essays about fandom, especially ones from multiple perspectives.

For the most part, what I have under 'Main Fandom' should probably mean 'Only Fandom' in that I get very heavily focused on one thing at a time, fandom-wise. But! I'd obviously be open to talking about most of what's listed in my favorites, and I'd love to meet some new folks and get braver with this whole 'posting writing in new fandom' business! (I was really popular in my last fandom, but it became overwhelming and scary near the end, so I ran and hid from most of it.)

So, Hello!
