Add Me Fandom

Subscription/Access Policy: Subscribe and unsubscribe as you like. If we have similar interests there's a decent chance I'll follow back. I don't give access because so far my posts are either public or private. The fandom stuff is all public.

 

Main Fandoms: As far as what I'm currently writing for: Vanitas no Carte, The Untamed, and Dragon Age. I'm doing chapter-by-chapter meta for Vanitas no Carte and I have several fics going for it. I'm also writing a fair amount for The Untamed and have a series for Dragon Age in the works.

Other Fandoms: Star Trek (most versions), Good Omens, CLAMP's works (specifically xxxHolic, Cardcaptor Sakura, X/1999), Pandora Hearts, Pet Shop of Horrors, Fullmetal Alchemist, Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, and The Lord of the Rings.

Fannish Interests: I love writing and reading meta and fanfic, I enjoy story-based podcasts, video games (point-and-click, RPGs, puzzle-based), NaNoWriMo, and setting reading goals via GoodReads. 

 

Favourite Movies: Pan's Labyrinth (in general I'm a fan of Guillermo del Toro), The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Spirited Away, and Pirates of the Caribbean. I also have an interest in silent film more generally.

TV Shows: Star Trek, The Twilight Zone, The X-Files, Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, Orphan Black, Good Omens, The Untamed, Pushing Daisies, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and The Good Place.

Books: The Stormlight Archive, The Golem and the Jinni, The Lord of the Rings, Uprooted, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, The Language of Thorns, The Borrowers, and the Little House series. Some favorite authors are Neil Gaiman, Garth Nix, Naomi Novik, Brandon Sanderson, Douglas Adams, Jun Mochizuki, and Shaun Tan. 

Music: Metal, Art pop, and electronic. Two favorite artists at the moment are Blind Guardian and Susanne Sundfør, 

Games: Portal, Diablo I and II, Earthworm Jim, INSIDE, Dragon Age, SOMA, Penumbra, Sonic the Hedgehog, the Blackwell series, Unavowed, Dungeon Siege, Escape Goat, Thief Gold, and Thief: The Metal Age.

Comics/Anime/Misc: Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Legend of Korra, Batman: The Animated Series (and the DCAU), Yuri!!! on Ice, Princess Tutu, Cardcaptor Sakura, Nabari no Ou, Loki: Agent of Asgard, The Sandman, A Bride's Story, The Dragon Prince, and Fullmetal Alchemist.

 

Other Info: I've listed a lot of things here, but as far as what I'm posting about most at the moment it really is Vanitas no Carte, The Untamed, and the video games I'm currently playing, which at the moment are Mass Effect 2, Penumbra: Black Plague, and Planescape: Torment. I enjoy writing and talking about any of these fannish interests and I hope to find more people who are interested in similar things. ^^

I try not to discuss super heavy subjects on public on my journal, though I'm occasionally critical in my reviews of a series or of fandom itself. I use Tumblr, AO3, and Pillowfort as well, but I'm particularly fond of Dreamwidth. Some other hobbies of mine are crochet and tarot. Thanks for reading! ^^
